The Defining Line Salon is truly a unique place for both clients and those who choose to establish their career here. With an emphasis on professionalism in the industry, we hold a high standard for those calling The Defining Line home. As with all things of worth, it requires dedication and hard work but the rewards are great.
We are commission based with several bonus programs available and encourage stylists to soar to their greatest potential with us in every way. Input of those who work here is invaluable. We truly listen to ideas and suggestions of everyone, implementing them in part or in whole wherever possible according to our culture.
The Defining Line is fortunate to carry Bumble and bumble (Bb.) and AVEDA products and to be designated a Bb. treatment salon; a distinction held by only 1% of salons in the nation. Our resident Bb. Network Educator was recently honored as among the top 3 Bb. Network Educators in the country and travels to New York’s Bb. University, bringing back cutting edge training for stylists. This information is presented at least monthly through The Defining Line Salon’s continuing education program. This program, one of the building blocks of our foundation, helps stylists to continue growing their art, fueling their creativity and knowledge about hair. We believe that to stop learning means to be stagnant. Our stylists deserve this education and our clients deserve a stylist who can evolve from appointment to appointment with greater knowledge, skills and integrity as a professional.
